Serving the public was modelled by my dad. As the daughter of a Kamloops alderman who served in the RAF, my father was my example of what public service means. Caring for the community means volunteering your expertise, energy, and above all, passion to help your neighbours. If you want someone on Vancouver City Council who lives those values, then elect Mary Jean “Watermelon” Dunsdon to Vancouver City Council on October 14th!
