About 2 Pounds of Candy
Serving Size:
Start with a Dime Size Piece
Wait 1 hour for Effect before Taking More
Utensils:
4 quart Sauce Pan
Candy Thermometer
Measuring Cup
Heavy Duty Baking Sheet
Spatula
Vinyl or other plastic gloves
1+ gallon plastic food storage bag
Ingredients:
2 Cups Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Karo Syrup
1 Cup Water
2 Teaspoons Kief
1 Teaspoons Flavoring
Dab of Food Coloring
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
Non-stick Spray Cooking Oil
Process:
Spray Baking Sheet with Non-Stick Oil and wipe away excess
Combine Sugar, Syrup and Water in Saucepan
Mix thoroughly then avoid any further stirring
Place on stove top burner at High Heat for approx 45 min
Add Kief when Thermometer reaches 125 – Do Not Stir!
Add Flavoring and Color when Thermometer reaches 150
Continue Cooking until Thermometer reaches 300
At 300 Cooking is Complete.
Stir Vigorously to Thoroughly Blend Kief
Remove from Heat and Pour onto Oil Coated Baking Sheet
Spread Evenly and Let Harden for about 20 Minutes
When Hard, Crack into Pieces with a Heavy Kitchen Tool
Scoop into Plastic Bag with Powdered Sugar
Shake to Coat
