No extra card is needed to grow.
In the state of WA, a medical card holder can grow 4 plants. A doctor can recommend more if you think you need more than 4. Remember you need to keep a copy of your medical endorsement near your plants.
Every state has different rules for home grow, so check your state’s web site. Some localities do not allow outdoor grows (smell of plants).
